The National Seashore...

Approximately 60% of Wellfleet is owned by the National Seashore. That gives us miles of pristine beaches and densely wooded forests with kettle ponds hidden away in the woods.

 

The Wellfleet Oyster...

This delicacy, famous all over the world, is known for its sweet flavor which is derived from the uniquely brackish water of the Wellfleet harbor.

 

The Art Gallery Town...

The town center, known for its charming New England ambience, boasts at least two dozen art galleries. Along with regular daytime hours, Saturday evening "Artist's Openings" with wine and cheese are popular events.

4th of July parade, fireworks and road race, October Oyster Fest, summer surfing demonstrations and competitions, bicycle races. (Check with the chamber of commerce or town hall for dates and times.)
